The Discraft Kratos is an overstable approach disc. Zero turn with three of fade means it does not flip and does not drift — it goes out, leans left, and drops.
That makes it a utility putter: headwind approaches, forced hyzers, forehands that must hold their angle, and spike shots where the disc has to stop dead. Three glide keeps it from ballooning, so the fade arrives on the ground rather than in the air. PDGA-approved in December 2023, it is one of the newest moulds on this site.
Three of fade at 3 speed means there is no straight shot and no distance in it. Thrown soft it simply fades sooner and finishes shorter.
How much the Kratos turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Kratos was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
